ALLT-YR-YN LTC CODES OF CONDUCT PLAYERS

Players are expected to:

• Be a good sport, acknowledge all good shots by their partner or opponent.
• Play by the rules and be fair in all line calls.
• Never argue with a partner or opponent.
• Treat all players as they would like to be treated themselves. They must not ridicule,interfere with, bully or take unfair advantage of another player.
• Never deliberately manipulate a situation or draw to avoid playing with players they consider inferior but accept whoever they are paired with or against in games, be tolerant and understanding.
• Never display bad sportsmanship or act in a petulant manner when losing.
• Control their temper. Verbal abuse or deliberately distracting or provoking an opponent is not acceptable behaviour in tennis.
• Co-operate with their coach, partner/opponents.
• Not use derogatory language based on gender, race or impairment.
• Be a fair winner and a good loser.
