Football Festival 2019

Baslow Sports Field will host its fourth annual Baslow Junior Football Festival on Sunday 23 June 2019. Set in the heart of the Peak District and in the surroundings of Chatsworth park this is the must attend junior tournament of the year. This year we are having a change of format with two leagues of U8’s and two leagues of U9’s with play off finals between the two leagues. Teams of boys, girls and/or mixed teams are welcome to take part with no limit on the size of squad. Entry fee is £20 + £2 per squad member (for example, if your team has 10 members the total cost will be £40).

It’s a great day of competitive football in a supportive and friendly environment overseen by our colleagues from the Respect team at Derbyshire FA.

Every child will receive a medal or trophy and there will be plenty of play-time as we run four pitches simultaneously with a minimum of five matches for each pitch.

All our referees are FA accredited and there is plenty of adult supervision to ensure everything runs smoothly and within the spirit of children’s football.

We have a BBQ, Tuck Shop, Bar and onsite car parking (£3) for the full day and all proceeds go to the Baslow Sports Field charity.

As last year, the age groups are determined by the school year so for this festival, the age groups are for the 2018/19 season.
