Ways to Play

Meet other players - WhatsApp groups!

We’ve now established WhatsApp groups to help players arrange games at a similar level.  Links to join are below. We’ll also be providing information for Americano tournaments (these are very sociable and suit single person entry - more details at the bottom of this page), Coaching, Ladders etc. via these channels.

These are accessible for members & non-members alike. For arranging games, please message the group indicating approximate level and suggesting a date & time & indicate cost (check the booking sheet first for court availability)

The organiser will normally book the court then arrange for the other players to pay their share on the day.

The Levels are aligned with the LTA Padel Rating System, and also the following additional guidelines are also being used to help players understand the levels against the main components of Padel play.

Levels 1-2 (Complete beginner – recreational only player) Whatsapp group - click here:

Levels 3-4 (Previous racket sport experience at a competitive level – regular padel players competing just below tournament level) Whatsapp group - click here.

Levels 4 only (by application only)

We have a group for level 4 s only who meet the criteria detailed above. This tends to be experienced and proficient players just below tournament level. For further details email here.

Levels 5+ (by application only)

There is also a group for experienced padel players competing to a tournament level for those that progress to this standard. For further details email here.

Americano Tournaments!

These are run weekly for each of the groups and are a great way to play padel by just signing up yourself (no need to find a partner or opponents!)

They typically run for an hour with 5 players which means 4 rounds played of 24 points each round and you'll get a new partner / opponents each time! The rounds are pre-set by software and the players update the scores on their phones as they go. The overall winner is the person with best points total.

Join the WhatsApp groups to get involved in these. Full rules & info for Americanos are here.

Coaching

Our tennis & padel coach Graeme Soutar is running regular group sessions - details can be found here.

How can I take part in the Box Leagues?

These are for members only and are free to enter. We had 30 pairs across 6 divisions in our first round in August 2023 and are up to 36 pairs in our current cycle which ends 12th January. Contact us now to get involved in round 3 starting in January. Email us to enter.

Free Taster sessions

These are available 1.30pm on Saturdays by pre-booking your place by emailing us. These are for people who haven't tried out padel before. Or if you and 3 friends can get together at a different time - let us know when and we'll try and accomodate you.
