Our annual Club Championship is now open for entry.

This great tennis event occurs every year at Hampton in Arden tennis club and completes on finals day (7th October) which is always a great day with lots of quality tennis.

Tournement Format

As always there are many ways to play and lots of opportunities for silverwear ;-) 

• Mens Elite Singles - An elite level tournement for regular members of the 1st and 2nd mens team (Contact Savio for clarification).
• Singles - Mens and Ladies singles open to all members.
• Doubles - Mens and Ladies doubles open tournements (choose your partner or we can pair you).
• Mixed Doubles open tournement (choose your partner or we can pair you).
• Mixed Doubles Plate tournement where partnerships are pre selected based on a seeding process (at the Tournement directors discretion).
• Mens Vets Doubles - Open doubles tournement for Men over 45 (as of 1/4/2017)
• Mens Super Vets Doubles - Open doubles tournement for men over 60 (as of 1/4/2017)
• Ladies Vets Doubles - Open Doubles for Ladies ofer 45 (as of 1/4/2017)
• Ladies Super Vets Doubles - Open Doubles for Ladies over 60 (as of 1/4/2017)

Matches are played to the best of 3 sets (first to 6 games with two clear games, tie break at 6-6) with the last set being a "Championship Tie Break" (tie break format but first to 10 with two clear points).

All matches should be arranged by the players in the weeks leading up to to finals day... expect some gental pursuasion form the Tournement Committee ;-)

Entering and Eligability

Let us know ASAP (by emailing tournaments@hamptontennis.org.uk or speaking to a committee member) if you want to play in this years championship, to qualify you must meet the following eligability criteria:

1. You MUST be a paying tennis members (Click here to join)
2. You MUST be able to play on finals day (October 7th 2017) - this is essential, please don't enter unless you can play this date.

Juniors

Juniors are eligable for this Club Championship if they meet the required eligability standard (speak with Ian Poole for clarification on this).
