Additional information about the day

The 2023 Club championship reaches its conclusion with Finals Day this Sunday - hopefully. Unfortunately the weather is not looking great for sunday and a plan B is being considered just in case. A call will be made nearer the time.

In the meantime, preparations for Sunday continue and the order of play is at the bottom of this page.

Finals will be split across two session with the singles plate and cup matches in the morning session from 10am and mens, womens, mixed and veterans doubles in the afternoon session from approximately 3pm.

All matches will be played on the more prominent courts 1 and 2 allowing a better view for spectatorors and allowing court 3 to be set out with mini-nets and other games for families.

We hope to run a team Challenge tournament over lunch and between  1-3pm. The tournament will give spectators a chance to join in on finals day and allow the singles players a rest before some of them compete in the afternoon session.

The Team Challenge will be held over lunch so please feel free to bring a picnic. The afternoon session will also be accompanied by tea, cakes, pimms and prosecco - all available from the new kitchen.
