What can you expect?

At the Blue stage, children will learn fundamental skills for tennis through play in a fun, stimulating and safe environment. Children will be encouraged to make decisions and positively cooperate with other children. Sessions will be active with skills being developed at an appropriate pace to the child’s experience and ability.

Notes from the coach

During the Blue Stage of coaching we teach lots of multi-skills aimed at developing the skills needed for tennis ( throwing / catching / moving in different directions etc) Your child will learn the names to all the strokes needed to play tennis including forehands, backhands and serve. Children will start to practice each shot using games and different scenarios.
