Two more victories this week for the Ladies A Team, despite the scorching weather and depleted energy levels (Meg only mentioned that she was hot about 17,346 times during the match at Penzance...something to do with sweating out pure alcohol)!
The Penzance team proved hard to beat for Meg and Mel with their 'getting everything back' style, but perseverance got them through, along with the promise of an afternoon swim in shark infested waters! A final score of 10-1.
St Agnes offered an enjoyable match but not too much resistance, with St Ives enjoying another 10-0 score line. Good company for a summer's evening after the match, despite the lack of homemade cake!
