The Ladies Masters team from Wickham played enthusiastically both in the Winter season and the Summer season last year and I am proud to say that we finished as runners-up in our division in both seasons.
We received certificates at the annual awards ceremony which I believe are now on display at the club. In the Winter season we were annoyingly the only team in the division to beat the winning team, but unfortunately we lost a different match!
Currently, we are placed at the top of the table for the Winter season in play at the moment, but this may not last as we have some strong teams still to face. I would like to thank everyone who has played for me for their sterling efforts towards the success of the ladies team. - "Maggie Allan"
