Members (adults and juniors 14+) are warmly invited to register for a new Singles Ladder Box League. Building on our great coach led mix-in sessions, this is your chance to take all that energy and positive learning a further stage forward.
If we have sufficient entries, more than 1 box will be created with promotion / relegation of players between boxes at the end of each period - about every 2 months.
At each match, players can choose to play in either of the following 2 short formats :
CLASSIC 3 SET
- Optionally play 3rd Set as 10 point Championship Tie Break
NEXT GEN 3 SET
- 4 game sets
- Tie-break at 3 games all
- No lets on serve
- Sudden-death points at deuce
MATCH SCORING IN BOTH FORMATS
- WIN =4 points
- LOOSE =1 point + 1 point for any set won
- BONUS =2 points if play all matches in your box
RESULTS
These will be sent to all players each week by email and posted on the website.
MATCH RULES
1) Players must show up within 15 minutes of the arranged match time otherwise they will forfeit the match to their opposition at their discretion.
2) Please use good quality tennis balls - no one wants to hit a flat ball on court.
3) Notify the singles box league organiser (John Ridge) of your on-going match results.

By agreeing to take part your email address will be made available to the other participants by email (only).
JUNIORS
1) Registration and organisation of matches will require parent/guardian consent
2) Acceptance of registration will deem parental/guardian consent for the club and box league organiser to use the junior member's contact email address for the purpose of organising matches and publishing results via email
3) It is the parents/guardian's discretion to accompany the junior member during any match
