Firstly can I on behalf of the Committee thank all the parents for your support over the last 12 months.
Michael Johnson has now been with us for a year and in that time he has improved the Coaching Programme for all members in many ways. The feedback from members has been incredible.
Michael has grown the number of sessions available and introduced other excellent Coaches to support the programme. Bash Kara has been running FREE tennis for kids course over the Summer and 40 children were introduced to tennis on Mondays. James Mack also ran 2 Course on our behalf on Sundays which were also well received.
Currently, there is Junior Coaching available on Sunday Mornings from 930 to 1030 am for our 4-8-year-olds.
Sunday mornings 1030 to 1130 is for the older children and is managed by James Mack.
On Mondays, we are still running a 430 to 530 session for older children 8 and older.
The new Wednesday session run by Mike is from 5 to 6 pm and is focused on 4-8-year-olds.
All of these sessions are supported by additional coaches and good playing standard tennis helpers.
We have been subsidising all these sessions whilst we have been growing our new membership.
We have kept our membership fees very low to make sure all juniors find access to tennis affordable to all.
Our fees will be adjusted to £3.50 an hour for all Juniors who are registered members from 1st October.
and £7 an hour to all juniors who are non-members.
If you wish to join to access these lower fees please register for the 8-week temporary family membership at £25 and then if you are still happy to continue to play make a second £25 contribution to join as FULL FAMILY MEMBERS.
For larger families, the maximum fee for 3 or more children will be £10 to members or £15 to non-members.
The other benefits of membership are access to our courts and floodlighting, entry to Wimbledon Ballot, access to teams, Free Cardio Sessions on Wednesdays, Free Adult sessions on Sunday mornings and members rates at Adult sessions.
If any member finds these fee adjustments unmanageable please contact Adrian at keeno777@me.com and discuss it with me. We are a members Club, not a business and whilst we feel it is necessary to adjust our fees we are not looking to make a profit. Our volunteer Committee manages your subscriptions on your behalf and we welcome your feedback.
