Alwoodley Tennis Club

We are a family club, and welcome new members of all ages and abilities. We are a section of Alwoodley Community Association and provide a relaxed and friendly environment for all.

We run coaching sessions for juniors and adults and have social tennis for adults on Wednesday and Friday evenings from 6.30pm when everyone is welcome. We also hold an annual tournament for juniors and adults in a number of categories, with our finals weekend in September. We also have mens, ladies and mixed teams as well as Under 16s who play in competitive matches in the Leeds league and LTA Team Tennis throughout the summer and winter. We are registered with the LTA for the 2022/23 season and were awarded the CLUB OF THE YEAR 2014 by the LTA for services to the game in Yorkshire. We are run by volunteers, with the exception of our qualified coaches Ben Crichton and Jamie Walters.
