Two young players from Royal Wootton Bassett Tennis Club came out as age group champions at the recent LTA Wiltshire Junior County Closed Competition.  Una Anicic won the U10 Girls Singles trophy and Joshua Bennett (pictured) was champion in the U11 Boys Singles.

Six days of play at the end of August at the RWB Tennis Club were a fantastic advert for the quality and sporting behaviour of young players from across the county.  Featuring singles and doubles matches, the week of tennis marks an important gateway in the progression of young players from county to regional competitions and Una and Joshua will have a chance to play on bigger stages.  We wish them well.
