I’ve worked in around 30 Nursery, Primary and High schools, Village Halls and offered free tennis in local park courts.

I currently work for West Warwickshire Sports Club which has over 140 junior members, LTA trained coaches, and where I piloted Community Tennis, Tennis Tots and Multi-Sport Tennis Camp activities.  www.westwarwicks.co.uk (B91 1DA)

I also work in the Evesham area for Inspire2Coach, an internationally renowned Tennis Coaching Company which in this country has coaches involved with 20+ tennis clubs and teaches beginner coaches and further develops existing coaches. www.inspire2coach.co.uk (WR11 4ST)

I am familiar with and practices all LTA initiatives. For Players up to 11: Tots Tennis - for Nursery Players 3-4 yrs; Tennis for Kids - Mini Tennis 4-10 yrs; Rally Awards Scheme - for Mini Tennis Players. For older Players: Touch Tennis - Mini Tennis for teenagers and adults; Tennis Express - quick start tennis for beginner teenagers and adults; Tuesday Tennis - tennis coaching aimed at Ladies; Cardio Tennis - High tempo tennis with drills for fitness & tennis skills. I try to make every lesson Fun.

I attend regular Personal Coaching Development programmes to maintain and improve my performance.

I am part of the LTA Davis Cup Legacy coaching team, ‘Tennis For Kids’ following GB's success in winning this international competition and I’m a Sports Tutor in The Children's University.

In all my range of coaching, Nursey to Adult,  I provide constructive, confidence building activities that results in measurable improvement in aerobic ability and tennis skills to LTA standards, providing real achievement and preparing young and older Players for life experiences in a safe and welcoming environment. I take a ‘Play and Stay' approach, so that Players carry out some form of Serve - Rally - Score games whatever their standard.

I have a wide experience in teenage and adult coaching in all the locations I’ve worked.  Adults include beginners and lapsed Players returning to the game, working individually or in groups.  Ken provides a confidence building approach which draws from any previous experience and the Player’s objectives.

I am trained in coaching wheelchair Players, recognising that sport offers multi-dimensional functions that few other rehabilitative activities can.  I am also trained to work with Deaf and Autistic Players.  I have practical experience of coaching disabled individuals and groups

In support of each Player, I provides constant equipment checks,
racket sizing and checking stringing etc. and provides appropriate loan rackets and access to experienced equipment retailers.

Besides my family, my other main interest is centred on my church life where I am also the Children’s Safeguarding Officer.  I’m also Governor of the local primary School.
