Notes from the coach

The Mini Green Development Stage is a course designed for children at or around 10 years old. A Mini Green player will play on a full sized tennis court with a Mini Green Ball which is lighter than a full weighted Yellow Ball. This stage is appropriate for players trying tennis for the first time or transitioning from Mini Orange Ball onto Mini Green Ball. The fundamentals such as serving, forehand, backhand and volleys will be addressed at this stage whilst having a lot of fun at each session. A Mini Green Development player could use this stage as a springboard onto Mini Green Performance or simply attend the class for fun.
