Notes from the coach

This course is designed for children at or around 10 years old. A Mini Green Performance player will play on a full sized tennis court with a Mini Green Ball which is lighter than a full weighted Yellow Ball. At this stage, a Mini Green Performance player will look to automate the serve, forehand, backhand and volley skills. Each participant will be coached tactics to provide a ‘why’ behind each shot and to gain an advantage over the opponent. Matchplay will be incorporated into each session and each player will be encouraged to play local/regional tournaments.
