Your new ITF (International Tennis Federation) approved carpet courts will be installed this August on courts 6 to 10 at King Georges Park.

ABOUT THE NEW COURTS

Artificial tennis courts are becoming increasing popular as they reproduce the feel and play of other surfaces and very closely imitate their ability to take shots with slice and spin whilst the softer surface also helps reduce injuries. The all weather courts will also have improved drainage to support year round play and provide new opportunities for the whole community including 5 Tennis courts, 4 Netball courts and 1 junior Hockey pitch.

All Star Tennis operate 6 public venues in Wandsworth Borough and as part of a borough wide programme have now resurfaced 27 out of the 28 courts. Last but not least Wandsworth Park resurfacing is coming soon. Floodlit play is available at King Georges Park in Wandsworth for year round play.
