Newly refurbished Furzedown Rec courts are now open

Sunday 23rd June was a momentous day for tennis! Andy Murray returned to tournament winning ways at the Queens Club and down the road at Furzedown Rec, long term Sunday morning regulars Ravi C and Ravi B were the first to put the new courts to the test with All Star co-founder Ben White.
Furzedown regular Ravi C commented:
‘This bright and professional court gives us a enjoyable playing experience and we are definitely looking forward to playing here every week’
Ben said ‘It was a pleasure to personally thank the two Ravi’s and their group for regularly booking and paying for courts at Furzedown. I am delighted that we have been able to reinvest in the facility and provide a much improved venue’
If you are now feeling inspired by Wimbledon then this is a great time to hit the courts. Pay and play tennis is available and All Star Tennis offer great value yearly Memberships from £1 per week which offer free off peak play and discounts on everything else.
All Star Tennis operate 6 public venues in Wandsworth Borough and as part of a borough wide programme have now resurfaced 27 out of the 28 courts. Last but not least Wandsworth Park resurfacing is coming soon. Floodlit play is available at King Georges Park in Wandsworth for year round play.
