Court Usage Guide
Mon, 24 Mar 2025 00:00

Please follow the following guidelines to ensure fair and appropriate use of the court for all members:
1. Bookings can be made easily online. It's always a good idea to book ahead of playing to avoid possible conflicts with other members who may have booked already.
2. The gate code is changed regularly and will next be changed from 1st April 2025 as start of new season membership. This will then be advised on your next booking confirmation email. Please do not shared this with non-members as we have sadly experienced unauthorised access and damage in the past.
3. Keep an eye on the website when you login as News items & updates are posted occasionally. For example, we hope to get court re-painted at start of this season so it will be closed for few days (dates to be confirmed).
4. The court is to be used primarily for tennis and whilst it is tempting to allow younger children access to play safely, we would prefer that use of bikes, scooters and balls games are avoided as far as possible to avoid risk of damaging the court surface and net. We have very limited funds for maintenance so appreciate your co-operation and understanding in this.
5. Details of our compliance with the LTA safeguarding and "Safe to Play" policy can be found on the website and on the noticeboard next to the court. In accordance with this we please ask that any younger family members are not left unattended or unsupervised on the court.
6. Coaching: at the moment we have no plans to provide regular coaching sessions. We did try last year but had little or no interest. You can of course find your own coaches, who should be registered and LTA Safe to Play compliant.
