NOTIFICATION OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
30th October 2018
Dear Member,
The Annual General Meeting of the Club will be held on Thursday 15th November 2018 starting at 7:00 p.m. in the clubhouse. All members are invited to attend, but only senior members may vote.
Any resolution proposed to be moved by a member should be given in writing to the secretary or left in the internal postbox in the lobby before 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, 4th November 2018.
As required by the Constitution, all members of the Club Committee, with the exception of the President and the Club Coach, end their term of office at the AGM. Any two Full Members may nominate persons for election to next year’s Committee on the form accompanying this notice, which should be completed, signed by the proposer, seconder and candidate, and returned, marked “AGM”, to the club office no later than 7:00 p.m. on 14th November 2018.
Nominations for all Committee positions are always welcome although relevant experience and/or knowledge is often helpful. A brief summary of the roles of Committee members accompanies this notice. Please speak to any Committee member for any more details needed (their details are posted on the board).
The Meeting will debate any motion by any member of which notice has been given in accordance with the second paragraph of this notification. Only those present at the Meeting may vote since the Constitution contains no provision for voting by proxy.
