We are excited to report on the outstanding progress on one of Avondale’s young stars!

Alisha is a 14 year old tennis champ, who started playing tennis at Avondale Park at the age of 6 and still practices here every week.

Her coach is thrilled to share that she has recently won several competitions (the ITF World Junior U18 Championship Ghana 2023; the Whitsun, Bradfield, and the Westway Women grade 3). He says “Alisha has demonstrated outstanding performance and showcased significant improvements in her skills and abilities throughout the past year. Her dedication, hard work, and passion for her tennis were truly commendable.”

Alisha has reached a career-high ranking of 575 in the ITF under 18 World Ranking, playing around the world.
