I hope you are enjoying this glorious weekend, and thinking about getting back out onto the courts.

Juniors

We have our first family event of the year next Saturday 26th from 1-3pm, with lots of fun tennis activities for juniors and their families. We are planning a BBQ and facepainting as well and juniors are welcome to bring along a friend who may be interested in tennis too.

Our Easter Tennis Camp weeks will start on 4th and 11th April, and places are available on Pawel's Easter Camp page.

The next coaching blocks will be available to book on Thursday next week.

New Members Tennis Xpress

We are offering 4 weeks free coaching to welcome any new member joining this year before 15th April. The classes will run from Sunday 17th April 09;30-11-00 and are suitable for beginners or those who are a bit rusty. Sign up here

Social Tennis

Dont forget that we have 5 regular club social sessions running every week and all members are welcome to come along and join in:

Sunday 14:00, Monday 18:30, Weds 10:00, Thurs 13:00 and 18:30. (note that in w/c 4th April and 11th April the daytime sessions will run at 14:00)

We are using the SPOND app to allow people to sign up to sessions and see how many others are attending. Please contact me to get access to this app.

The next Saturday social for adults will be on 23rd April and we will also use the SPOND app for sign up to this.

There will be a few more weeks of Adult Cardio Tennis running on Thursday evenings at 20:00, so please contact Pawel if you would like to join in.

NESLTA Teams

Ladies' Team practice is on Wednesdays at 18:30 and Gents' is on Tuesdays at 18:30. Please contact Fiona Graham or Pawel Ewertowski for more information.

Maintenance Matters

You will be pleased to learn that the council are due to repair the access road to the carpark next Friday 25th, so there may well be issues with access on that day. We have also commenced work on repairing the footpath adjacent to court 3, so that may also be closed for a few days.

Volunteer maintenance work at the courts is scheduled for 12:00 on Wednesday 30th March. The "off court" session will be on Saturday 2 April at 10:00. Please email Clive at [email protected] if you are interested in helping out and have not already done so.

Best Regards

Arlene
