What can you expect?
At the Blue stage, children will learn fundamental skills for tennis through play in a fun, stimulating and safe environment. Children will be encouraged to make decisions and positively cooperate with other children. Sessions will be active with skills being developed at an appropriate pace to the child’s experience and ability.
Notes from the coach
Young kids are bundles of energy just running around without a care in the world. But the programme is designed to finesse their fine motor skills like balance, agility and coordination. At this stage it’s not about winning or losing but just getting to grips with the basics. Our summer courses this year have been restructured to follow strict COVID-19 guidelines. As such we have limited number of spaces and participants will be social distanced throughout the session. Anti bacterial wipes will be provided throughout the sessions for regular hand cleaning. Coaches are DBS checked, safeguarding trained and first aiders, to ensure maximum safety of all participants.
