CLUB OF THE YEAR DOUBLE WINNERS 2018

The Club are celebrating having just been awarded “Yorkshire LTA Club of the Year” and also “Sheffield and District LTA Club of the Year”.

LTA Deputy President David Rawlinson will present the Club with their prestigious “Yorkshire Club of the Year” award at a Yorkshire awards evening in December. The British Tennis awards are always keenly contested and with 165 Clubs in Yorkshire it is a tremendous achievement to be awarded Club of the Year. The Club will now go forward for Regional and possible National recognition.

The Yorkshire award came soon after the Club were awarded “Sheffield and District Club of the Year” at a prestigious awards evening at Bramall Lane Sheffield. Club Chairman Chris Day and several Club members who were present received the award of a Silver Salva from the Sheffield and District President John McGleave. Both awards recognise the fantastic progress the Club has made in transforming its facilities, growing its membership and in its commitment to junior development. The Club are determined to build on this success and look forward to your continued support.
