Membership Renewals 2025/26

We are inviting all our members to renew their memberships for the coming season from 01 April 2025 until 31 March 2026.

Please follow the instructions below and ensure that you formally renew your membership via the website. If you do not formally renew your membership, your account will lapse on the system and you will not be able to book courts.

Instructions

1. Log in using your LTA account. If you do not have an LTA account, you will need to create one (free). 

2. Click the "join now" button below on your chosen membership plan.

3. Pay your membership fee into the club’s bank account (HSBC) and confirm that payment has been made (via email or WhatsApp). Be sure to include your initial and surname as a payment reference.

4. On receipt of payment, you will be issued with the gate code and membership welcome letter.

The membership categories for the 2025/26 season are as follows:

SPECIAL OFFER – any new member who joins Waverley LTC for the first time will receive 50% off their membership fee (first year only, full price applies for subsequent years). This offer applies to all membership categories.

Club night & Ladies’ night

The first club night of the season will be held on Tuesday 01 April 2025 from 18:00. Ladies’ night will continue to be held on Wednesday evenings (from 18:00) throughout the summer (one hard court and one grass court will be booked out). 

Open Day

Waverley Open Day (Sunday 27 April 2025 11:00 - 13:00). There will be free group sessions for children and adults.  Non-members are welcome, so please encourage friends and family to attend.

Guest Rules

As a reminder, members can bring guests at a guest fee of £5 per session. Each guest is limited to 3 visits. The £5 guest fee can be paid directly to the club’s bank account or via the clubhouse letterbox.

Children/Adult Coaching

Children’s coaching (ages 16 and under) takes place on Saturday mornings from 09:30 - 10:30. Adult coaching takes place on Saturday mornings from 10:30 - 11:30.  If you are interested in either children or adult group coaching, please contact Simon Syed directly (07904 340004 or simonsyedtennis@aol.com). 

The fees below apply both to children and adult group coaching:

£13 non-member | £11 club member | £50 block booking for 5 weeks

Members WhatsApp Group Chat 📞

The club’s WhatsApp Group Chat is a handy way of organising matches and confirming attendance for club night.  Members wishing to join the club’s WhatsApp Group should email waverleyLTC@outlook.com

Basingstoke Tennis League

The club currently has 2 men’s teams and a mixed doubles entered in the Basingstoke and District Summer/Winter League. We have also entered a ladies’ team for the summer 2025 league. The club is always looking for players so if you are interested in playing competitive tennis, please speak to a member of the committee.  

Clubhouse Keys🔑 

Any member who wishes to have their own key to the clubhouse should submit a request to waverleyLTC@outlook.com. A £10 deposit is required.

Spring Clean 🧹

Helen Haider is organising a spring clean of the clubhouse on Sunday 6 April 2025 (starting at 10:30). Any help would be greatly appreciated, so please volunteer if you can.
