Following the government guide lines on dealing with the Coronavirus epidemic, we are officially stopping club nights and ladies' morning. However, we are not stopping you making private arrangements to play with your friends, but please adhere to government advice about keeping 2 metres apart and washing your hands, particularly if you find yourself having to wait to go on court. All other sport at the sports field has been banned & the pavilion is closed, so you will have no access to the toilet facilities or floodlights. We have decided to keep the tennis courts open, as it is possible to play & keep your distance from people, but you will need to sanitise your hands on leaving the court, as there are no washing facilities. We can't sanction a club night as this would encourage groups of people to congregate.
I've just heard on the news that tennis has suspended competitions until June 7th, so I think we will have to follow suit & ban our matches until that date.
