Winter Tournament ladies finalists

EasyFundraising

Our tennis facilities cost a lot to maintain and we are looking at ways to avoid raising subscriptions fees next year.

The Lawn Tennis Association has made us aware of a fundraising scheme which provides the club with donations, based upon a small percentage of the amounts you spend personally with online shopping. This does not affect in any way the prices that you pay, the service you receive or the terms and conditions you would otherwise get. It is a win:win for you and for us.

The scheme is called Easyfundraising and this is a link to their website. https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk

I have looked to see what others think about the scheme and feedback from Trustpilot seems to be generally very good https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.easyfundraising.org.uk

It is really easy to get started and most online retailers will partake in the scheme. If you download the Donation Reminder it will help you remember to use easyfundraising - so the tennis club never misses out when you shop online. I was amazed when I went on to both my BT and British Gas accounts that the Donation Reminder popped up so that money I now spend on those sites will give rise to donations to the Baslow Tennis Club fundraising account, without me having to remember to do anything.
So, what do I do?
- Go to https://www.easyfundraising.org

- Search for a good cause - type Baslow Tennis Club and then Search
- Baslow Tennis Club - click on Support this cause
- Create an account, either by using Facebook or Email
-Enter your personal details and then Create my account
-You are now almost there - well done! Just Add the donation reminder to ensure that you get a prompt every time you go onto a retailer's site who will donate monies to the tennis club
- On the Easy fundraising donation App page - add to Chrome

That should complete the process but just to get a feel of what to expect try accessing an online site that you use regularly (eg your comms or energy provider or Booking.com or Amazon, etc) When you see the prompt come up it asks you to activate it. By doing so you are prompting the retailer to make a donation to the tennis club, based upon a small %age of what you spend. It will all add up. If you have time, take a look at what else you can do on the website.

Please try it out and see how easy it is to raise funds for the tennis club without affecting your own position at all. If you have any feedback good, bad or indifferent then please do let me know!

Many thanks indeed
