KAL KLUB Tennis Programme

KAL are proud to be working with the Lawn Tennis Association to deliver a programme that will get your children excited about tennis whilst learning new skills.

All junior tennis lessons are for 1 hour and must be pre booked as part of the KAL KLUB Tennis junior membership. Membership options available are as follows:

One session a week - £24.50 per month 

Two sessions a week - £38.50 per month 

Add a Fitness Bolt On to any membership for £10 per month (age restrictions apply)

STAGE 1 - Players who have never played before or who play a with friends but do not know much about tennis.  At this stage players will learn how to hold a tennis racquet, the name of each line on tennis court, mistakes in tennis play, how to hit groundsrokes and how to start a tennis game (match).

STAGE 2 - Players who have finished stage 1 in our program. Players know ready position, how to swing the tennis racquet  and hit the ball after a bounce, how to serve (under arm and over arm), what grip to use for each shot, difference in singles and doubles game and how to score points in tennis (scoring systems)

STAGE 3 -  Players  who have finished our stage 1 and 2 in our program. Players will know how to start a tennis match, how to recover after each shot, how to volley the ball at the net, serving and receiving in singles and doubles matches, how to control space on the tennis court, how to hit top spin and flat tennis ball

STAGE 4 -  Squad and invitational session for players who finished all above stages and express interest to participate in tournaments and local tennis leagues.
