TIMETABLE OF PROGRESS

Work started on Monday 7th September for the new Poraflex surface on courts 2 and 3. Below is a brief explanation of the processes involved to ensure we get an absolutely top quality result. 

Monday arrived at 07:00 and jet washed the courts until just after lunchtime.
Tuesday arrived at 07:00 and put chemicals on the “brown spots” on the courts.
Wednesday no work as the chemicals used on Tuesday needed to dry.
Thursday arrived 08:00 court surface, chemicals etc delivered
Friday arrived 08:00 and started laying the courts
Saturday will continue to lay the courts
Sunday will continue to lay the courts 
Monday will chemically wash the courts.
Tuesday no work as chemicals need to dry
Wednesday courts to be painted
Thursday courts to be painted
Monday courts to re-open
 
Items from Saturday to Thursday are subject to weather, not only being dry but also not windy.
 
If this all proceeds to plan, courts will be finished one week earlier than planned.
