David Burton was approached this week by Mark and Emma Beaney from Kent Greyhound Rescue (KGR) asking for a donation of old tennis balls. With Kim Martin's help, we had a clear out of the old balls used for social tennis and replaced them with lovely new ones in the foyer. A great plaything for many of the greyhounds and lurchers in foster homes or kennels and a plus for those members that wish to use Club balls too !

Like ourselves, KGR is a non-profit organisation, run entirely by volunteers and they do great work in saving many dogs' lives, most of whom are retired from racing, or simply weren't fast enough 'to make the grade'. They receive no help from the racing industry which is really sad. We were delighted to be able to offer some support.
