Terms & Conditions of Service for Coaching Sessions
We like to keep your booking and tennis experience as easy and straight forward as possible, so it’s important you take a little time to read the following “Terms & Conditions of Service” to understand how Matchpoint Management manages tennis coaching services at Beauchief Tennis Club.
The following are the Terms and Conditions of Service for Matchpoint Management. Booking onto our courses (including but not limited to Holiday Programmes, Private Lessons and Interclub Coaching) implies acceptance to the Terms and Conditions as set out below.
Bookings, Payments & Refunds
- Children’s classes & Adult courses are payable by the term in advance – usually 11 or 12 weeks. All players must be booked onto a course before attending via our online booking portal at: https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/BeauchiefTennisClub/Coaching or by email jen@matchpointmgmt.co.uk

Cancellation of Sessions
- There will be no refunds for class bookings that are cancelled within one week of the start of the term unless due to injury.
- There are no refunds for withdrawals or non‐attendance during the term due to change of mind. Refunds/credits will only be issued if an injury prevents play and when three or more classes have been missed.
- Changing between classes may be permitted at the discretion of Matchpoint Management, provided there is sufficient space in the required class and that any additional costs are paid.
- If you book a private or group lesson with ANY of our coaches, you have the right to cancel your appointment 24 hours prior to the lesson; this will ensure the possibility for other players to fill the spot left by the player, or to confirm the minimum number of players required to hold a group lesson are attending. Otherwise, if the player cancels the lesson without prior notice less than 24 hours before the lesson, he/she will be charged the full price of the lesson.
- If the weather is deemed unfit for play or for any reason the courts are out of action we may cancel the session.
Make up Weeks
- We want to give value for money and create a fair system to you in regard to cancellation of sessions due to inclement weather. Our main objective is to see as many people as possible playing tennis as regularly as they can. This is why Matchpoint Management have a “make up week” scheduled at the end of each term. Players should use this week to catch up on any missed sessions that were cancelled due to bad weather. If you are unable to attend these catch up sessions then no refund will be given.
- If more than one session is to be “made up” then you are welcome to attend an equivalent class on another day at your club. Speak to your coach about other classes that would be right for you/your child.
- If you unable to attend an alternative sessions then it is possible to reduce the price of the next block. Please email jen@matchpointmgmt.co.uk for details.
Clothing & Attire
- Players must bring appropriate clothing to suit the weather conditions. All of our sessions are outdoors so in winter conditions please wrap up warm
Membership of Tennis Club
- All junior players need to be members of the club to attend coaching sessions. If you are not a member then you will be contacted with details of the membership options available to you.
