2018 represents a milestone for BTC as we celebrate our 80th year. To commemorate and celebrate this, the BTC committee have opened a competition for the redesign of our club shield/logo and the installation of a new clubhouse clock.

The New Club Shield

The BTC club shield should be representative of the club, possibly include our 1938 Est Date and will form part of our identity on all forms and digital and social media.

The current club logo will be replaced with this shield and we are hoping for something more fitting with our club, something with prestige, that is distinctly BTC.

The Competition

The competition is open to ALL members, young and old, to design the new shield in line with the criteria set out above. Members can submit as many entries as they wish and the winning design will be chosen by a majority vote of the committee.

The chosen design will then be professionally drawn and rendered.

Open date for entries July 2017, closing date 31st October, winner announced early November.

Photo entries should be emailed to chrismuscroftbtc@outlook.com or you can drop in your design into the clubhouse letterbox, marking your envelope "BTC Club Shield Competition".

The person with the winning design will have a commemorative plaque presented and will receive their 2018 membership FREE OF CHARGE. We're hoping to encourage a huge amount of entries from our talented BTC members and hopefully a very good design.

The committee have the final say and no cash alternatives will be offered as the prize.

The Clock

A large clock is to be erected on the outside of the gable end (above the Office Window) and have the new club shield design on it and “Est. 1938” underneath. This will be installed prior to the Summer 2018 season.
