Preparations are now well underway for our 2022 Beauchief Tennis Club Open Day which will be taking place on Sunday 1st May 2022. This is the first open day since 2019 and we hope you will join us to make it a great day full of fun for all our members and the local community. As well as coach led activities on court there will loads of fun and games off court too. The bar will of course be open all afternoon plus the BBQ will be fired up, we'll have a tea/coffee and cake stall, tombola, mini treasure trail and a tennis clothes stall (new items from Lily Rose & Me and a selection of nearly new items from members).

This year will also see the return of the fabulous "Great BTC Bake Off" - a cake competition judged by our very own Jo Fitzpatrick of JoJo Cakes. Enter your tasty tray bake or cute cupcake into our CAKE COMPETITION for your chance to win an exclusive "Great BTC Bake Off" apron. All entries to the club by 1pm on 1st May. We would love you to donate your entry to the Open Day cake stall after the competition to raise funds for the club

As you can appreciate running the Open Day is a huge task for our team of event volunteers. We are always looking for extra help so if you can spare a little time before or during the day we'd be extremely grateful. In particular we are looking for:

• Donations for the Raffle and/or Tombola
• Nearly new items for the tennis clothes stall
• Volunteers to help with preparations before the day
• Volunteers during set-up on the day
• Volunteers to do a shift on the bar, stalls or BBQ
