Our floodlights were finally installed just before Christmas and have already been well used.

The cost of lighting is £6 an hour and the meter takes only £1 coins. It is free however on Wednesday social tennis sessions.

We were successful in applying for a grant from Shipley Sports Chest for the cost of nail free lines for the floodlit courts 1 & 2 and these will be installed in March possibly with assistance from the Bojan's students from Shipley College.

In the meantime there is plenty of pre season maintainance needed including removing moss and adding clay to the courts, constructing a path at the front & side of the club house and improving the car park. At our AGM we suggested that, rather than leave all the work until the Spring working parties, everyone could do an hour of so's work before social play on Saturday mornings
