SCHOOL TENNIS PROGRAMME

The School's Tennis programme actively promotes schools tennis participation and competition through the linked work between the School's Sports partnerships and Brentwood Tennis Club across Sheffield. The School Programme actively builds relationships with mainstream and learning disability schools. We pride ourselves providing the perfect tennis experience for anyone with a disability.

Brentwood Tennis Club, with help from the LTA help fund the schools competition, including organisation and venue hire to enable a fun and competitive environment during the summer term. This event is held as close to the Wimbledon Championships to encourage engagement and excite players.

During these competitions, Brentwood Tennis club actively promote access to their club programme or link with schools to continue the sessions. The number of participants competing in school tennis has grown year by year due to the work of the Community Tennis coach Ben and the support of the LTA and Brentwood Tennis Club.
