A very successful day for Berkshire 8U teams in the East Region - Inter County Red Event at Cambridge last Sunday (8th March).

The girls exceeded expectation by making it to 3rd place out of the 10 counties with us losing only to the 2 finalists Essex and Hertfordshire. The boys matched expectation by finishing 5th only losing to Hertfordshire and Cambridge who finished 1st and 3rd respectively.   So, an overall position of 4th out of the 10 counties just missing out on 3rd overall by a tiny margin. 

All the girls and the boys represented Berkshire brilliantly and gave their all throughout the event in their own matches and supporting one another when they were not the ones playing. A long yet successful day with plenty leant by all of us as coaches and players.
