First quiz night for over two years was a huge success.

11 quiz teams gathered at the Three Tuns pub on Friday 1st April for the return of the popular Bishops Castle Tennis Club quiz, which had been postponed for two years during the pandemic.

Teams enjoyed a 'colourful' quiz, with 6 rounds all with different colours as a theme, devised by Kathy Taylor.

And being April Fool's day, instead of playing a Joker, teams chose a round to 'play the Fool', where their points were halved instead of doubled if they got a bonus question wrong!

Congratulations to the winning team 'Thrown together' who hadn't all met and quizzed together before the night but managed to become champions.

It was a great night enjoyed by all, raising over £500 including proceeds from the raffle. Watch this space for news of future BCTC quizzes!
