Kids Parties:  We held another kids party last month- Craig's first at Bovingdon.  Great fun was had by all and Freddie, the birthday boy, gave us a great review.  Please see under FUN FOR KIDS on our website for more details on what we offer including previous party reviews (separate tab).

Facilities update:  Further to last month's important announcement, we can confirm that the access road work will be carried out this month.  There will be no vehicle access from 19th Aug to 23rd Aug until after 16.30 and then from 23rd Aug through to 2nd Sep there will be no vehicle access at all.

We will also have contractors on site cutting back trees next to the courts on the 2nd and 3rd of September.  This is to prevent them obscuring floodlights and to prevent leaves and bird poo falling onto the courts.

Club Champs winners:  We plan to have a Club Champs winners board showing previous winners, which can be added to each year, up in the Clubhouse.  Our aim is to have this ready by Club Champs finals day which is why we would like all cups returned by mid August please.

External winter matches:  We have entered 3 teams (one mens, one ladies and one mixed) into the Aylesbury District Winter League which runs from September to April.  Teams will be starting in the bottom divisions.  The captains are:  Tim Baldwin- mens team, Angela Morgans- mixed team, Ann Mudd- ladies team.  The format is 2 pairs only.  Currently it is sets to 6 , stopping at 6-6 ie a set can be tied .   Each pair plays 4 sets.

The ladies and mens matches are weekends and the mixed matches are midweek.  If you would be interested in playing in any of these teams, please contact the captain or alternatively return this email.
