Three results in, as weather halts midday matches

Rain put paid to matches scheduled in late morning and early afternoon on Saturday.

However, there are still three results to report. In the mens singles, defending champion,Stuart Thwaites beat Michael Harris. In the mixed doubles, last year's runners up, Duncan Hurlstone and Karen Hirst beat Michael Scholes and Penelope McDermott. 

Finally, in the evening drizzle, no 3 mens doubles seeds; Geraint Davies and Phil Huggon, beat Craig Feldman and David Bloom.

Sunday 12th June sees a fabulous schedule with no less than nine fixtures planned. 

However, No2 (Wilkie) Court is still available throughout the day for freeplay.
