Finals line up almost decided
Four results from Wednesday that sees our finals line up almost complete.
In the mens singles, Phil Huggon (3) beat Stuart Thwaites (1) in a three set match full of excellent play. Phil plays Lee Clarke in Saturday's final.
Gill Birrell and Fran Hughes (2) came from behind in both sets to beat Toni Crosby and Pat Dee in another excellent match; to make Saturday's final.
Simon Pickard and Duncan Hurlstone (2) also came from a break down in the first set to beat Steve Coleman and Paul Harris (5). They play Stuart and Lee in Saturday's final.
Finally, Heidi and Georgia Bailey beat Penelope McDermott and Trisha Kearney to reach Saturday's consolation final.

Two matches scheduled for tonight. Antony and Madeline Perrett play Paul and Rowena Allen in the consolation mixed singles SF.
This is followed by the ladies SF match between Helen Judd/Jackie Huggon and Karen Hirst/Helen Williams.
