Bradfield Tennis Centre uses the Tie Tennis booking system for membership, coaching courses and court bookings. To get started, you will need to download the Tie Tennis App. This is available on both Android and iOS:

Android

iOS

Once you have the app, you will need to sign up and create a Tie Tennis profile for yourself. Please ensure that you enter your full name, email address and date of birth as a minimum. You can then link to Bradfield by adding the club to your favourites (search for the club and highlight the star next to it).

When you have done that, to add children to the system (so you can book for them) please email

TennisInfo@BradfieldCollege.org.uk stating their full name and date of birth so that we can create them and link them to your account. You cannot book for children until we have done this, as bookings should be made in the name of the player who will be attending).

We run tennis camps for players aged between 5 and 15, and follow the age groups of the LTA Youth programme:

Red 5-8: Learn the basics, to serve, rally and score: Here, we’ll help players improve their balance, agility and co-ordination while teaching them about the sport we love. You’ll see overarm serves, rallies and volleys. Coaches will help players to further develop their co-ordination, balance and speed. We’ll introduce relaxed competition here too.

Orange 8-9: Develop a rounded game: Time to throw in some tactics, problem-solving, and guides to sportsmanship and leadership. At this stage players will know all of the rules and will be serving and returning in matches.

Green 9-11: Test your skills: This is the big one. It’s time to play on full size courts. Now it’s all about growing their game by fine tuning and refining the techniques they’ve learned so far.

Yellow 11+:  Take your skills further: Time to find your game. Playing on a full size court with the same size balls the pros use, players will continue to explore different styles on the court, and start to choose their own.

Red and Orange camps run from 09:00 – 12:30

Green and Yellow camps running 09:00 – 16:00

Players need to wear tennis appropriate clothing (suitable for the days weather), with non-marking trainers. Players should have their own racket and come with a water bottle, a snack and lunch (if the player doesn’t have their own racket, we can arrange to lend you one with notice).

We have a Pro Shop on site with a range of Babolat and Head rackets and bags, should you wish to purchase a new racket. We also have catering available, ranging from teas and coffees to snacks and sandwiches.

If the player has any medical or behavioural issues that the coaching team need to be aware of, please let us know in advance, and speak to the players coach on the day.

To help you navigate the Tie Tennis app, we have a library of “how to” video guides on YouTube that you may find useful:

We look forward to welcoming you to Bradfield Tennis Centre, and if you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
