Club Christmas Party a Huge Success

Our annual Christmas party on 6th December proved to be a fantastic evening, with members and guests enjoying a wonderful celebration at the clubhouse.

The venue looked spectacular, beautifully decorated for the festive season, and the catering was excellent with plenty of delicious food for everyone to enjoy.

Both the outgoing and incoming club presidents took the opportunity to say a few words, and the BPLTC Tennis Tournament shields were presented to this year's winners.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the live band – 'The Split-Steppers' – made up entirely of our own club members. Tom Bailey on vocals, Andrea Ainsworth on vocals and keyboard, Mike Anderson on bass guitar, Jim Manekshaw on guitar, and last but not least Greg Ainsworth on drums, performed a brilliant set of classic covers. Their performance got the whole house up and dancing, creating a truly memorable atmosphere.

The raffle was a great success – thank you to everyone who contributed prizes and bought tickets.

All funds raised are fed back into the club to benefit our members.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise the event, to our talented member-musicians for their entertaining performance, and to all who attended and made it such a special night.
