Broughty Ferry Tennis Club was founded in 1921 by a small group of friends two of which were William and Winnie Grieve the parents of John( Jack ) Grieve who was a very active member of the club for many years .
In May 1921 the tennis club opened in Holly Road Broughty Ferry where it remained until 1994 when the tennis club moved to its present site in Elcho Drive .
Over the years there has been many changes to the club , most recently we have had three new Lano clay courts , three mini red courts and a practise wall built ( DOE) , LED floodlights installed ( D.C . Lighting ) and our clubhouse heating and lighting have also been upgraded .
During our Centenary year there will be a variety of social and tennis events including an Open Weekend on 11th & 12th September‘21 where there will be an opportunity for present , past and potential new members to come along to the club .
