Sunday the 23rd June Burton Tennis and Squash Club was the venue for this terms mini matchplay tournaments. The mini red was well represented with 9 players and some incredibly competitive matches with the eventual winner being Taya Smith. The mini orange was also well represented with 13 players. All the matches were played with a good spirit and the standard of tennis quite eye opening for all concerned. It was great to see first time pupils competing with excisting pupils with a great sportsmanship and quality. The final was between Jude Holden and Isabella Smith with Isabella winning after a tough 3 set match. Good day for the Smith family. The mini green had 3 players and unfortunately there is still one match to play as Celia struggled with the humid conditions.
