On Saturday February 20th, members and their guests gathered to roll, move, buy and conquer at the club's first Board Game Evening. More than twenty people of all ages engaged in a range of games from the classics of Monopoly and Operation to the explosive Og on the Bog and the hilarious Silly Sausage.

"It was great to see everyone having fun playing the games and mixing with each other", reflected Sports and Social Secretary Duncan Coates afterwards. "With more than half the people taking part not being regular visitors to the club, it was particularly good to welcome them, see them enjoy the facilities available and have a very enjoyable evening."

With many requests for a second event, hopefully the Board Game Evening will become a regular event hosted at the club. Many thanks for the support of those people who attended; we hope to see you at the next one!
