At 16, I joined the LTA's Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence programme at Halton UK, which provided a clear pathway to becoming a professional tennis player, coach and university scholar. 

The Apprenticeship offered an extensive programme for me as a student athlete to achieve an NVQ Level 3 in understanding and achieving excellence in sports performance, both LTA Level 1 and 2 Coach Assistant qualifications and two A-Level qualifications whilst committing to regular high performance training and competition of a National and International level.
