Members will be pleased to hear that as well as the immense and much valued amount of work Geoff does for our club, his wider input into sport across the region was recognised at the recent Stewartry Sports Awards presentation evening. “There was also a special award at the evening to Geoff Legg.

Geoff and his wife Eileen from Castle Douglas are well known in the tennis circuit through their involvement over several decades with Stewartry Community Sports Club.

The presentation was made to recognise Geoff’s many years of hard work on Stewartry Sports Council, which he stood down from earlier this year.”
