We wish to advise members that following the Scottish Government guidelines issued recently, from Friday 9th October it is MANDATORY TO WEAR A FACE MASK in the communal areas of buildings. There is an exemption if you are exercising/working out. What this means is that you must wear a face mask when you enter the building and you can only take it off if working out in gym, aerobics room or on squash courts (still only solo practice or with household members for squash/racketball). You can also take the mask off when going outside onto the tennis courts. Obviously when you finish working out indoors or on the tennis courts you must put your mask back on to leave the building via the communal areas.
So it's now, DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING unless you have pre-booked your session and you are wearing a face mask. CCTV covering the entrance hall and social area can be used to check that all members are abiding by these rules. We have no discretion on this, it is mandatory as well as making sense to protect others.
Please share, tag and spread the word - DON'T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR FACE MASK.
All the other protocols continue to apply about using hand sanitiser and antibac sprays and not entering the building if you are experiencing any of the symptoms.
