Congratulations to Judy Dallas and Lisa McDonough who retained their trophy by defeating Annabel Dallas and Issy Sharpe 6 - 3 6 - 3 in the final of the ladies doubles tournament yesterday Wed 26th Aug.

𝗠𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀

Congratulations to Jonnie Allen and Kurt Little who defeated Rick Butler and Sean Sullivan 6 - 3 6 - 1 in the final of the men's doubles tournament on Mon 16th August.

𝗠𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀

Congratulations to Ethan Lee and Lucy Li who retained their trophy by defeating Kevin and Holly Eccles 6 - 3 6 - 1 in the final of the mixed doubles tournament on Thurs 19th August.

This year's three doubles competitions involved 45 individual members. I would like to extend my thanks to all those members who - despite league matches, holidays and an appalling summer as far as weather is concerned - put themselves out to such an extent to ensure that two tournaments were completed within an extremely tight set of deadlines and the third overran by only 3 days.

This is an enormous and dramatic improvement on every other year in my experience so thank you, again, to all those concerned.
