Club of the Year’ Serves up Free Tennis Open Day

Chatteris St Peter’s Tennis Club recently attended an awards evening at Emmanuel College in Cambridge, where they were presented with the plaque for Aegon British Tennis Awards 2016 Club of the Year for Cambridgeshire.

This latest award for the Club sets them up for a great start to the new season, which kicks off with a free to the public Open Day on Sunday, 2nd April at the Club, starting at 2pm.

Visitors will be provided with tennis equipment and Club members will be on hand to offer assistance if required.  In addition, light refreshments will be available during the afternoon.

Club chairman Simon Grainger said, “We very much look forward to our Spring Open Day as this allows us the chance to share our Club with our entire community, enabling visitors the opportunity to enjoy free tennis for all, regardless of age or ability. It’s always well attended and a fun afternoon”.
