Cheam Fields Club extends a warm welcome to new members. Our family-friendly club offers membership of the Tennis section including Pickleball and/or Bowls section as well as social (non-playing) membership. Social membership is automatically included in membership of the playing sections (Bowls, Tennis and Pickleball).

Membership of tennis section
We offer a range of options and fee levels for membership to suit everyone for the 26/27 membership year (to 31 March 2027). Members can play in external leagues as well as internal competitions.

Our packages are competitively priced compared with other local clubs, and include special rates for families, young adults and juniors:
Families: for family groups of two adults and two children under 18, or one adult and three children under 18, we offer a heavily discounted package that includes full adult and full junior membership. This is a multisport membership and include Bowls and Pickleball.adults and juniors:
Young adults: reduced rate packages are available for young/younger adults aged from 18 to 28 (and the adult membership fee is not payable until age 29).
Students: a younger adult (age from 18-24) in full time education or training whose term-time address is outside the area of the club may pay only 50% of the younger adult fee.
Juniors: our full junior package includes the Saturday morning coaching programme as well as access to play on courts and competitions, and a reduced price is available for juniors and parents who wish to play at off-peak times under a dedicated "restricted" package.

The eligibility for a package is based on age and/or status on 1 April 2026, or for a new member, the date of joining if later, and proof of eligibility may be requested.

Bowls memberships
Adult multisport memberships include bowls, tennis and pickleball.

Pickleball memberships
Pickleball memberships are available for new members, or as add-ons for full tennis and bowls members.

Applications for membership
You may make an application for membership by using the appropriate Join now button below. 

All membership applications are subject to approval by the relevant club committee and we suggest a visit or trial session before joining.

Membership fees are as shown and are payable in full by bank transfer to the club's bank account.

Club rules
Our rules, codes and policies (regulations) operate to promote the welfare and wellbeing of all members and safeguard those who use the Club's facilities, particularly children and vulnerable adults, and provide the legal framework for the Club. All members of the Club are expected to comply with the regulations.

Report a safeguarding concern
If you have any concerns about a safeguarding issue involving a child (an individual under 18) or adult at risk, please contact one of the club's welfare/safeguarding team officers, Pam Tarrier or Christine Girdler. Pam is the lead officer for members of the tennis section and Christine is the lead officer for members of the bowls section.
